It’s Season of Giving Back at Smokeball!

At Smokeball, we’re all about community — the Smokeball community, the legal community and the communities we live in. It’s the core purpose that guides our work, and it’s the reason we’re so excited to celebrate our annual Season of Giving.  

Now in its fourth year, Season of Giving is an opportunity for Smokeball to give back to organizations that make a difference every day. For each new customer demo given between Friday, Oct. 22, and Tuesday, Nov. 30, Smokeball will donate $50 (up to $30,000) to each of our two charity partners: 

• Howard Brown Health: Howard Brown Health was founded in 1974 and is now one of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) organizations. The agency serves more than 40,000 adults and youth in its diverse, Chicago-based health and social service delivery system. 
  Howard Brown Health serves its community in a broad capacity, including COVID-19 education, testing and vaccinations for a vulnerable population. However, donations from our Season of Giving Back partnership will benefit the organization’s Broadway Youth Center expansion.

• Equip for Equality: Equip for Equality was founded in 1985 with the mission of advancing the human and civil rights of children and adults with disabilities in Illinois. The organization, which serves as the state’s federally-mandated Protection and Advocacy System, supplies disability-rights education, legal services and independent monitoring of state and private facilities, among other efforts.
  On Nov. 16, EFE will host a belated, virtual 35th anniversary celebration, featuring special guests like U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D., IL) and honoring five important pro bono partners for their extraordinary contributions.

• For current Smokeball clients: Refer a Smokeball demo! Know someone in the legal community who would benefit from our industry-leading legal practice management software? Submit a demo referral. Once the demo is complete, we’ll donate to Howard Brown Health and Equip for Equality. And if your referral becomes a Smokeball client, you earn a $300 bonus. 
• For prospective Smokeball clients: Sign up for a Smokeball demo! Been meaning to take a peek under the hood at Smokeball? Now is the best time. When you complete your Smokeball demo, customized for your firm’s unique needs, we’ll donate to Howard Brown Health and Equip for Equality.
