Writing a compelling job description is a crucial step in landing top talent for your small law firm. Only a few well-chosen paragraphs ultimately stand between you and your first phone screen. Here are three tips and templates that will help set your firm apart so you can land your dream hire.
Outline Your Expectations: Candidates should go into the job interview with a realistic expectation of what their duties will be should they get the job they’re applying for.
Personalize Your Language: Candidates who are on the hunt often browse dozens if not hundreds of job postings each day. Personalize your job posting with a voice that is unique to your firm.
Keep it Short: Candidates sift through job postings in much the same way as you do resumes. Make sure your description is direct, short and to the point.

We are a business-minded law firm who invests in marketing, so sales experience is a plus. Training and support come standard. Your success as an associate in our firm is important to us and we are committed to helping you grow into your role.
Your daily responsibilities will include meeting with first time visitors, converting them into retained clients, and participating in the intake and case preparation process.
