Personal injury practice is fast, high-stakes, and relentless. If you’re doing it right, you’re juggling clients in crisis, discovery deadlines, medical records, experts, negotiations, and trial prep, often at the expense of your own well-being.
This MCLE, led by attorney Jordan Turk, explores how responsible, ethical use of AI tools can help California PI lawyers reduce burnout, reclaim time, and build healthier practices, all without cutting corners or compromising results.
We’ll cut through the hype and focus on real-world, lawyer-approved uses of AI to streamline everyday PI tasks like document review, drafting, case organization, and client communication. Just as importantly, we’ll connect efficiency to wellness, showing how smarter workflows can reduce stress, cognitive overload, and the always-on pressure that defines PI work.
In this FREE California MCLE webinar, you'll learn:
How to apply AI tools to specific, high-friction PI tasks to reduce administrative burden
How to evaluate ethical and confidentiality considerations when using AI in California PI practice
Tips to improve work-life balance in a profession that rarely slows down
Webinar duration: 60 minutes.
This webinar qualifies for 1.0 General MCLE Hour credit in the state of California.
Jordan is a practicing attorney in Texas, and the Director of Attorney Education and Development at Smokeball. Her family law expertise includes complex property division and contentious custody cases, as well as appeals and prenuptial agreements. In addition to her family law practice, she’s passionate about legal technology and how it can revolutionize law firms.
Jordan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Classics, History, and Religious Studies and then went on to attend the University of Arkansas School of Law to earn her J.D. After almost four years of practice with a high-asset family law firm in Houston (and after being frustrated at the lack of automation in her firm), she discovered the world of legal technology which ultimately brought her to Smokeball.
In Hacking Law Firm Success with Jordan Turk, she interviews law firm founders about how they grew and scaled their practices, as well as their ethos behind managing a firm.
