He has been in legal technology for over a decade, with experience across sales, operations, and client-facing roles at companies like Thomson Reuters and Filevine. Through his career, Matt has partnered with firms of all sizes, from solo's to the AmLaw 200, helping them adopt new tools, streamline processes, and avoid common roadblocks that slow cases down.
Matt also holds a J.D. and brings a practical understanding of how law firms actually operate day to day. Matt is known for taking a straightforward, no-nonsense approach and focusing on what works in the real world.
Sara Sultan is a Senior Client Trainer at Smokeball with a strong foundation in technology, education, and legal operations. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science and began her career as a computer programmer and IT professional, spending four years supporting complex technical environments.
Sara later earned her Master’s degree in Secondary Education from National Louis University and taught mathematics at both the high school and college levels. Her background as an educator plays a key role in her ability to deliver clear, practical, and engaging training experiences for Smokeball clients.
