We recently wrapped up our fifth annual Season of Giving, a campaign to support Smokeball’s nonprofit partners doing important work in our Chicago and legal communities. At Smokeball, we believe that caring is not optional, so partnering and giving are year-round efforts here, but especially around the holidays when generosity and giving abound. 

At the end of 2022, we announced that for every Smokeball sales demo ran, we’d donate $50. Our Smokeball clients and community showed up to support this effort! Thanks to you, we were able to donate $20,850 ($5,250 each) to our partner charities: Restore Justice, Equip for Equality, Howard Brown Health, and CASA. 

We’re thrilled to make a monetary donation and to also partner on community work with organizations like Restore Justice. “Our partnership with Smokeball is nothing short of amazing and life-changing,” says NaJei Webster, Program Manager at Restore Justice. “Smokeball stepped in to help our system-impacted community with their technology skills, and the impact they made was unforgettable. We look forward to growing this partnership.”   

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in Season of Giving by taking a demo or referring a colleague for one, spreading the word about our initiative, and by being involved in our Smokeball community. “At Smokeball, community is bigger than just our clients and our staff. It extends to the groups and people we engage with outside of our work. These communities have an impact on what we do and why we do it,” says Smokeball President Ruchie Chadha. “We’re grateful to support four amazing organizations who show up every day, doing important work to impact lives.”
